erm, daloonie has a castrol skin which by the comp rules should not be accepted for the judging. Sorry.

No, it was just general advice, best not to bring up this stuff on the forum as the devs are quick to ban.
I didn't accuse brat of bragging, though I may have inferred it. That was my bad.
We're cool now, BlueFlame, aren't we?

No, they just stop on the track where they are, then all the bodywork dents pop out and they race off again after a few seconds. it's kind of magical.

Anyone that doesn't obey the EULA is encouraged not to brag about the fact on the official forum. That is basic common sense.

The main argument against adding more demo content is that it does less to encourage people to buy the full product and more to make demo users happier to stay with just the free demo content.
What works for some does not work for others.
The fact is, there seems little chance that adding more demo content is much of a priority item for the devs.

If you have a knowledge of music from playing the piano, then getting to grips with a different instrument can be a lot easier.
Quote :Also what the heck is meant by 'ai is stoping for repair'?

That's when they stop to repair themselves after bashing into eachother/a wall/anything else hard.

If you graduate to S2 there are servers racing all groups of cars, some great racing can be had in the slower cars so learn to drive them all well and fast, don't just stick to the XRT. In fact, if you get a good laptime in the XRG, you will have to be a lot cleaner on your racing lines and it will help you to get much better laptimes in the XRT.

Quote from brat81 :...like tonight i gave a mate one of my unlocks coz he wants to get s2 but he dunno what it will be like so i said how about i give u a unlock and we join a server and race/drift with each other yeah the thought was kool but was disopointed when only one could be online with the user name so maybe a guest account for each user on s2 would be good.

In teh EULA the sharing of accounts is not allowed, now although your post has some constructive comments what you did in good faith is actually contravening the rules of your account licence.

Until Scawen fixes/improves the AI, try racing the XRT ai cars in an XRG, you may want to race them on quick instead of pro to get them closer matched. That will give you a lot more of a challenge

I think the track name comes up at the top of the screen as it's loading.
Sorry Becky, no offense but rosette just doesn't work as a racing experience if there are more than 6 people racing.
Certainly barriers are lethal due to the collision physics and lag issues can exaggerate accidents, but as all concerned are racing within the same restrictions you just have to take extra care of steering clear.

Some of the B&J tracks are just great, excellent competitive racing. Others I think are just a wreckfest, like the rosette one where paths keep crossing in the middle. You just end up with a big pile of wrecks in the middle and racing to gain points or even finish one clean lap becomes itself pointless.
Now this may work when there's 4 or 5 mates racing in a private sess together, but opened up to the public and 12 to 16 racers, it's carnage. In my view, this track should be retired.

Quote from Moonchild LT :Also it would be useful to make AI's a bit faster or add new ones above "Pro's". Current ones can't even get 1:24-5 in blackwood

Well inf they did that in the XFR I'd be asking for them to be made slower....what car are you talking about?

If you really haven't posted them anywhere (including LFSW) or to anyone then it has to be a file name replication issue. If you've uploaded to LFSW then anyone can take the skin out of the skins_x folder and use it. Sadly it is impossible to fully legislate against, you can only be happy in the knowledge that your hard work is so admired by others.

Would it be possible if anyone has any more to contribute to this thread, they ensure their posts are relevant to the topic, or if indeed the subject has now been exhausted, can we close it?

As this issue has been well covered in many previous posts I will close this thread for sake of tidy housekeeping.

Quote from creativesurgeon :Not in sales. Why would you want a nervous candidate in front of a client? Would you buy something from a salesperson who appeared nervous?

Salespeople who are pushy and arrogant are also an immediate turn-off for me. I would excuse a few interview nerves as long as the candidate seems confident and competent. Sales is not all about closing the sale on a double-glazing deal, it's about building long term relationships with clients who gain value from the services you offer.

Be confident
Be yourself
Be pro-active
Be enthusiastic
Don't worry about nerves, interviewers can see it in a positive light, far better than to come across all arrogant and don't-give-a-damn.

Why not make 2 nights a week a muti-class server?
Multi-class Mondays, could catch on, along with FOX Fridays, Westhill Wednesdays and Single-Seater Sunday .

I'd like a separate multi-class server for those that like to mix it up, combining all the cooper-bronze-silver-gold licence holders.
I'd like the silver+gold TBO server to remain available as is now, and also the beginners server for the XFG and XRG as separate.

Wow, if that sort of stuff disturbs you we'd better all start creeping round with slippers on whispering to eachother. The internet is a harsh place for sensitive peopple. Useful thread? Well useful means different things to different people.

Quote from 96 GTS :I'm not seeing how this thread is so bad, if he'd asked for professional racing drivers, no one would have minded. I'd love to get the chance to talk to some real pilots too, but it's not looking like there's many on here.

I guess if he posted on simflight forum he wouldn't have had the pee tazken out of him so much, but yes this is lfs forum and we race cars here, although in my spare time i love to fly gliders I don't post lame threads about gliding here, I post all those on soar.net.
