No, it was just general advice, best not to bring up this stuff on the forum as the devs are quick to ban.
I didn't accuse brat of bragging, though I may have inferred it. That was my bad.
We're cool now, BlueFlame, aren't we?
Anyone that doesn't obey the EULA is encouraged not to brag about the fact on the official forum. That is basic common sense.
The main argument against adding more demo content is that it does less to encourage people to buy the full product and more to make demo users happier to stay with just the free demo content.
What works for some does not work for others.
The fact is, there seems little chance that adding more demo content is much of a priority item for the devs.
If you graduate to S2 there are servers racing all groups of cars, some great racing can be had in the slower cars so learn to drive them all well and fast, don't just stick to the XRT. In fact, if you get a good laptime in the XRG, you will have to be a lot cleaner on your racing lines and it will help you to get much better laptimes in the XRT.
In teh EULA the sharing of accounts is not allowed, now although your post has some constructive comments what you did in good faith is actually contravening the rules of your account licence.
Until Scawen fixes/improves the AI, try racing the XRT ai cars in an XRG, you may want to race them on quick instead of pro to get them closer matched. That will give you a lot more of a challenge
If you really haven't posted them anywhere (including LFSW) or to anyone then it has to be a file name replication issue. If you've uploaded to LFSW then anyone can take the skin out of the skins_x folder and use it. Sadly it is impossible to fully legislate against, you can only be happy in the knowledge that your hard work is so admired by others.
Would it be possible if anyone has any more to contribute to this thread, they ensure their posts are relevant to the topic, or if indeed the subject has now been exhausted, can we close it?
Salespeople who are pushy and arrogant are also an immediate turn-off for me. I would excuse a few interview nerves as long as the candidate seems confident and competent. Sales is not all about closing the sale on a double-glazing deal, it's about building long term relationships with clients who gain value from the services you offer.
Be confident
Be yourself
Be pro-active
Be enthusiastic
Don't worry about nerves, interviewers can see it in a positive light, far better than to come across all arrogant and don't-give-a-damn.
Wow, if that sort of stuff disturbs you we'd better all start creeping round with slippers on whispering to eachother. The internet is a harsh place for sensitive peopple. Useful thread? Well useful means different things to different people.
I guess if he posted on simflight forum he wouldn't have had the pee tazken out of him so much, but yes this is lfs forum and we race cars here, although in my spare time i love to fly gliders I don't post lame threads about gliding here, I post all those on soar.net.
lame o/t post of the week award.
How about a special thread for left handed LFS-driving pig farmers who prefer tea to coffee? Lets hear from you. Even if you're not really a farmer yet but might like to be one later.
Depends what sort of presets they are. you can get textures, styles, brushes, patterns, gradients, all sorts. Each is used differently and accessed thru the different tools or Layer Style button.
Hey Black, those lines look familiar
You didn't by any chance rip them off my XF racing skin did you and do a bit of colouring?
You should have at least asked first before ripping my own skin and painting it all green.
1) Can you actually download them and use them in LFS from your album? -if not then there's not that much point hosting them; Or are they generally too small + quality loss on compression?
2) Always nice to ask first before posting other people's work
3) You should include credits to the artist/author once you have received their permission to post.
4) If you don't ask or get their permissions, then don't post them.
